This house was designed specifically for a tropical climate with ample spaces and organic bamboo walls. It has a double-height on the roof, allowing warm air to escape, and keeping the indoor environment cool and fresh. The front porch allows natural light to pour in, while integrating indoor and outdoor living. Like every CASSA home, it integrates all elements of sustainability: rainwater capture, water cistern for storage, pump for redistribution inside the house, solar panels, LED lighting, efficient smokeless stove, gray water separation and reutilization in a family garden, and an underground black water treatment system.
