This sanctuary was built in the middle of three majestic volcanoes in the Alotenango valley. With its octagonal design that contemplates elements of geometry and sacred astronomy, it manages to embrace the environment in the best possible way. The construction was raised with natural materials and this allows the exterior and the interior to feel like the same element. The triangular windows and sloping walls that evoke millenary traditions, serve their purpose by breaking the monotony and opening the space more outwards, allowing an almost 360" view of the surroundings. The Maloka is made up of a meditation and healing area, a bedroom that also works for private therapy, and a battery of bathrooms.
