This tiny home located in the mountains of Santa Catarina Palopó, around Lake Atitlán, showcase that often times, not only in nature but also in architecture: less is more. Space is maximized by adding height, creating amplitude without sacrificing proportion. Built entirely our of bamboo, stuccoed on the outside and varnished on the inside. Like all CASSA homes, it has the integration of all the services with elements of sustainability; rainwater harvesting, water cistern for storage, pump for redistribution inside the house, solar panels, LED lighting, efficient stove, separation of gray and black water, family garden fed by gray water and an underground black-water treatment system.
