This tiny house in Jutiapa shows that very high comfort and satisfaction can be provided in small spaces when one gets creative. This is built mostly from bamboo, it is an ideal house for a couple or an individual that is looking to become independent. The first floor features a social area with dining and living room, kitchen and a bathroom. An efficient step ladder leads to the ideal mezzanine for the bedroom. This design takes maximum advantage of every space and its openings between wall and roof allow for plenty of ventilation. Like every CASSA home, it integrates all elements of sustainability: rainwater capture, water cistern for storage, pump for redistribution inside the house, solar panels that produce clean and free electricity, LED lighting, gray water separation and reutilization in a family garden, and an underground black water treatment system.
